With his first collection with the BASCH label, Wesley Badanjak presented a strong collection that stayed true to the labels vision. The thing that i like about the BASCH brand is that is affordable luxury with limited production. So you know when you get a piece from BASCH it has not been mass-produced. The show had a great mix of separates, to cocktail dress to great evening gowns. The color palette was a mix of black, fuchsia, silver, red and pink. The key to this collection is versatility.

Some of my favorite pieces are the fuchsia top and skirt with the solid fuchsia panels, fringed black jacket with red slacks and finally the metallic evening gown.

Opique-LOVAS

For the Fall/Winter 2012 LOVAS Collection called “The Waterless Flood”, Designer Wesley Badanjak took inspiration from “The Year of the flood” by Canadian author Margaret Atwood. The color palette was a mix of light grey, black, maroon, and electric blue. I really enjoyed the mix of fabrics and the use of prints. Once again he presented a collection that will work for the young business women to the established well know socialite.
