US high end retailer Nordstrom will be opening in 4 Canadian cites starting in 2014. The new stores will be opening in Calgary in 2014, Ottawa and Vancouver in 2015, and Toronto in 2016. Over the years I have seen more and more US companies expanding up North. Is this a good or bad thing? I will be interested in the reception to another US brand moving across the border.

(02/09/2012) Victor Cruz has had a great year. Going from undrafted free agent, to starting wide receiver for the New York Giants, and internet sensation for his “Salsa” touchdown dance. Cruz capped of his season with an impressive game to help the Giants win the Super Bowl over the weekend. Yesterday Cruz had the honor to kick of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012. Also reportedly after his Super Bowl victory Cruz signed to IMG to help with his developing modeling career.

Total was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the S/S 2012 collection from Joeffer Caoc. His line was clean, yet bold with pops of color. From the bright oranges to the hot pinks, you saw his take on color blocking going into 2012. He then successfully mixed styles from dark to metallics, to sheer to sky blues. The two key aspects that made the show was his ability to mix separates, from dress to shorts and pair them with great shoes. Each look was complete and strong. The Joeffer Caoc woman is young, confident, and wants a strong, clean look that can be worn at any time and anywhere. For every occasion, Joeffer Caoc has a complete look from head to toe.
